105 Macro

Maybe a dumb question, but then again I know that the only dumb qestion is the one that is not asked.
Does a 150 f2.8 macro allow you to be further away from subject than a 40 f2.8 macro?

Yes the longer the focal length the further the working distance.

I just traded in an EF-S Canon 60 mm Macro on a 100mm EF f2.8L & it's an EXCELLENT lens! It allows me to stand back a bit (especially for bugs and such). It costs a bit more but it's well worth it.
