I have the Sig 150-500 and love it to death. Most all my shots are handheld birds in flight from my kayak. The I.S. is very good .
Prior to getting this lens, I borrowed a 100-400 L series and while a tad sharper on a tripod, was for me, not worth the ridiculous price difference.
