I saw something that did not belong in a video of a disintegrating glacier that was in a time lapsed photo.

Check it out and see if you saw the same thing.

Well it is definitely too much ice for my drink. But did I see a submarine, at about 1'45? It was something and not just blackened ice.

Awesome power, the majestic power of the planet.
Interesting juxtapostion of the loss of ice on the north with the gain of ice on the south pole

Yes there is an object at 1:67 if you freeze the frame you can see a lifting loop welded on the flat surface that appears to be quite strong.

The appearance of the object is flat to me but a little later you can see a vertical cylinder and then what looks like a conning tower.

What puzzles me is that this ice came off of a continent and broke off after getting in the water. What is the object, how old is it and how did it get there?

Um, just one of those alien thingies.
I think you will find that it just looks like an artifact, but, like the face on Mars, is in fact just the way it looks from a particular angle and that it is ice that coincidentally looked like a submarine etc. If it really was something mysterious, I think the photographer and all the other guys who have watched this around the world would have said "Oh My God!!!!".

Same here, There's an eye socket on the exposed head and the contour of the ice suggests a whale body beneath it.

I think they did notice it because they did a closeup shot of it.

Yes! It was definitely what I saw and clearly what it looked like. Waving my three university degrees in geology, I can say unequivocally that thing was what I want it to be.

I think the "thing" you saw was clear ice. There have been several pictures of clear ice formed between layers of cloudy ice and that is what it looked like to me.

And you saw it simultaneously, all together, at the same time. :D
