Saturday was sunny and after all the rain we've had recently, we decided to take ouselves off to Lyme Regis - took something over 750 shots, and this is the one I like most! Not a lot to do with the seaside, but he is walking the wall of the famous Cobb harbour.
On the Cobb
I love silhouettes and this is very appealing to me! The posture - he seems deep in thought. And that you captured one foot slightly lifted, along with his gait, can tell not posed.
Good one, yes it was nice to see the sun on Saturday wasn't it
Basic question, how to shoot a silouette?
Well, the shots were not really silhouettes, I upped the saturation and contrast in post processing (simply using Windows Live). Had I realised I would be using them as silhouettes, I'd have exposed for the sky. Here's another with more people that made a nice take - but it's pot luck when there's a lot of people as the postures can be all wrong!
