Good day to all. This is my first post (with pictures) on this site. My camera is a Nikon D7000 The pictures of the 3 grandkids are with the nikkor 50-300mm lens. It is strange that several of these pictures look exactly the same on 3 different monitors, but the one of my oldest (and future photographer) grand daughter looks a bit darker. It was fun t rying to capture "Mini-Penny" on the move. Please feel free to critize. I can take it and want to improve.

Welcome to the Hog, Penny. You are lucky to have three beautiful models. Tack sharp focus especially on the turtle.

Some really great shots here. I especially like #2 & #3, it appears that you have captured their true essence/personalities. Also love that turtle who is stretching his neck to get a look at you. I hope we get to see a lot more of your photos in the future. Welcome to UHH.

Thank you very much CajonPhotog! Those girls have very unique and fun personalities so its fun to trying to get a good shot of them. I wasn't sure how that turtle was going to come out because he was so far away. I thought it was nice of him to stretch that neck up so we could get a better view of his colors. Thanks again. I appreciate your kind words and encouragement!

Thank you tlbuljac! I appreciate the comment, especially since you are a regular here and see so many of the pictures. The turtle picture in my mind was questionable (until I put it on the computer) because he was so far away. I must say that sigma 150-500 lens came through for me. Thanks for the encouragement!

Thank you very much for your comments greymule! I noticed a difference of the skin tone on the oldest grand-daughter when I went from my home computer to my work computer. It looks mildly "orange". No one else has mentioned it, so hopefully that means they are seeing it the way my home monitor portrays it. I appreciate you taking the time to view the photos and commenting.
