I have used Minolta/Sony all my life but I recently went to the Nikon D600. Using the darn thing has been a challenge in the focus dept. The cameras are very different. I went out today and set the camera to the spot focus mode to try and gain control of the thing in shallow depth of field situations. Nothing fancy about the pix but the sudjects were good practice
fore ground in focus
mid ground was easy once I figured out how to put the spot where I wanted it
Shooting thru the fuzzies
The download on the snow and grass is considerably better, great shot....Tim

Thanks Tim. Just shooting what was avail. and the Grasses are hard because of all the 100's of focal distractions...fun times. Thanks as always for the comments

Like the last one.
Proof that the 3rd time is a charm! A stunning image in all respects, particulary the colors and how they come together. . .a very classic blue and tan.
