I went out in the yard last spring and took these of the flowers on the weeds in the yard. I have absolutely no idea what they are, but thought those of you in the frozen north might like to see what will be coming your way, hopefully soon.
#1 is my favorite, really nice! Almost looks like a variety of crocus.

No crocus. They grow on really long stalks in the yard. Pretty little things though.
Love the dandelion-gone=to=seed. so delicate and intricate. Most of your wild flowers are actually pretty tiny, you captured them well.

Thanks. Yes they are really tiny. Got looking at them one day and decided to see what they really looked like, instead of specks of color under my feet. Put my 18-70 kit lens on my camera and my close-up lenses stacked on the front of that, and crawled around the front yard. Certainly gave the neighbors something to talk about for awhile.
Thanks for looking and the feedback.

Nice shots.
Thanks. Appreciate your comments.
That peachy orangy yellowy is now my favorite color.
Excellent. I rate them 3 sneezes!
I like the apricot-colored flower best of the bunch, but all are nicely done. Good work!
Thanks everyone. Hopefully, they will be back in bloom in the not too distant future here.
