Mt Ventoux France

Mt Ventoux is a beast of a mountain, and to think cyclist from all over the world go there to clime the killing ride to the top. That said it is a stunning drive through the foot hill forests, then after about 15k you break out of the trees on to what can only be described as a moonscape, Stunning !!!!

Interesting images, but I think they are all enhanced by a little pp work, especially with levels, contrast and a little selective color enhancement.

All 3 are straight from camera, and while I have put them and others in the catalog through Lightroom and Photoshop I have not been able to improve on the reality of this unusual landscape. The one with the bikes I have worked and worked because I feel that there is more there, but so far nothing has worked.I can see where you are coming from and I do love pp working, if you have been to Mt Ventoux, you would understand, if not and you get to France at anytime I can strongly recommend a trip to the Vacluse and Mt Ventoux. Fair enough. Only you can assess how the image captures the mood of the scene.
