Frozen waterfall in Kansas City

Even though it is man made, it is still a nice display. I have posted pics of this before back in the summer.

I guess it does get cold enough, long enough for this sort of thing down here.

Just how cold does it have to be to stop water in motion? I think moving water cannot completely freeze as it still flows underneath, correct me if I'm wrong. Beautiful shots keep up the good work.

I don't know exactly what it takes. The one thing I do know is that we had several days of sub zero weather but it was just last Monday that it was in the 70's.

Thanks. I will have to ask my wife. She works right across the street from Union Station. I thought that they shut them off during the winter.
