I'm Alice and live in Union. I've been a photographer for over 20 years and love it. I just wish it was more lucrative. I shoot about anything..from pet portraits to weddings.
I'll post more info later. I look forward to getting to know everyone here.
Hi Alice. If that's Union NV. I love your town as much as your work. I'm a newbee too. Been on this UHH for about 5 days now, and am doing my best to not spend 12hrs a day on it. Looking forward to seeing more of your work. Ridesthewind currently out of Reno.
Wow !! I love that second one... very cool effect :) first time I've seen that .

Hey Alice - I'm a newbie too and from Springfield, MO.
Welcome aboard, Alice. I split most of my time between St. Louis and Osage Beach. Kind of makes us Ozark neighbors.
Hey Alice; Great pics; like no. 2 a lot. I've been on here for a while, just not participating much yet; learning from the experts. I'm right up the highway in Fenton.
Oh, this is so cool. I love having people this close. I was living for a while in California with a cousin that is a pro photographer. He was in a group called "Meet-Up" A group of pro/am photographers and they would do model shoots(that's where the second image is from...it was a vampire shoot) and once in a while they would pick a place and do "photo walks" It was a great group and the amateurs learned from the pros and the pros learned from the amateurs. I would love to see something like that in this area. Anyone else interested?
Hi Alice, I live south of St. Louis, nice to have you on board. Please tell me how you made your second picture, totally cool. I love using Photoshop and you mastered that in your picture.
Alice, I'm very interested. Here is my email jacquie1952@live.com. It only takes me about an hour to come your way. I'm not available the month of November, but other than that, I can meet with you all.
Hi, Jacquie...
Thanks for the compliment on my picture. It was actually pretty easy..it has to be for me cause I don't know a lot on Photoshop. I can't remember where I found the background..it was on a tutorial for something where you download the images and follow along. The couple was at the Vampire Wedding shoot we did. I think I've got more photos from it that I'll post later. Anyway...All I did was pull up both images and then with the "move" tool, I slid the couple over onto the background. That puts it on a separate layer...I then just lowered the opacity way down till I could see thru them. I now have that as a 16x20 canvas hanging in my hallway.
I'll do some research on the MeetUp Group and see if we can get something going around St.Louis.
Thank you all for the warm welcome. I think this will be a fun forum.
Those living near St. Louis, I found this...I've already signed up for it, but it doesn't look as thought they're very active. Hopefully, we can change that.
