I have been interested in photography since I was a child. I am not going to tell you how long that was.
I have joined this forum to take in the knowledge I need to become a better photographer. My compositions for the most part are OK, but I really lack in the lighting department.
I do OK with landscapes, horse portraits, and the insect shots. My family and friends think they are great, but I feel they are just being kind. I feel there is a lot of room for improvement. I need to work harder at my people portraits. I shoot everything, but I collect and frame barn photos.
Below is a shot of a hummer through my kitchen window. I have a lot of hummer shots, but this one was real cute. "Who has first dibs?"

I am sorry, but, it will take me a bit to find the different CDs that have the barns. I try not to keep too many photos on my computer. This one I took this past summer. The barn is in an area that is quickly being taken over by a housing development. This was taken as the canola fields were growing.
I will try to get the other photos as soon as possible. Most likely in a couple days, as I have so much going on.....
