More cubes.
Jen I do these in GIMP...I open a photo or create a new project with colors I want. Go to filters >Artistic>Cubism...then a box pops up on left & you can change tile size & tile saturation. When done I export to my working folder & open in Corel or Photoshop & finish what I want to do to it...such as cut out & get shape I want.. put it on a new layer....frame it...etc. & that's it. Not a lot to it but I like what I can do with it & like the looks I can acheive with it. :)..I swirled this one first but don't remember which program I did it in! Probably Corel.
This is a bolt of fabric I found in a store...I love the texture & colors in it. Bright colors I find tend to make better cube work....hope I didn't confuse you.
From taking photo to finished product is quite a few steps when you try to remember each step! :)

Thank you Pam, 'Light at the end' was taken at the Goodwood festival of speed which I go too every year, outside Goodwood house they always build a large sculpture and this particular year they were celebrating 50 years since the release of the E-type Jaguar, it was made out of steel tubes mainly and this was photographed looking up one of the tubes. Have some more I am working on to post today or tomorrow

I don't see a dog in #3....I see a bat. #4 (purple one) is like looking down a tunnel.

Yes cyan it could be a Bat, purple tunnel, yes sounds good might have to do some more with this one
Thank you
Last set from the Jaguar E-type sculpture, the original picture was taken with me laying on the ground looking up through the sculpture. More funny looks, that's why normally I go on my own to these events.

Ohh this one came out soooo pretty!
Thank you for the compliments! I agree with you that it seems like an extended family; which I enjoy very much. It is an honor to be thought of that way and I appreciate it!
We had an excellent dinner. Zack is a wonderful 20 year old (his birthday is the 18th so we celebrated). His education in an international school in Yokohama and now a Sophomore at Tampa University gives him a broader view than most. He plays on the Varsity Soccer team as substitute goalie. So I guess you can see we are a little proud of him.
