This is the time you wished you had a wide angle lens with you.
Or a 12ga shotgun and a retrieving dog.
It wouldn't take long to get your limit there.

Where was this shot taken? Must have been some kind of convention with free food!
It was taken at Lake Chillisqua a PPL power plant lake.

Nice pic. Looks like the snows were there in spring migration or maybe fall.
When's the best time to head out for Lake Chillisquaque? I'm not that far away. I would consider going there instead of Middle Creek, but I do want to get pics of the swans at MC.
Thanks for sharing your pic.
Be sure to watch Pennsylvania Outdoor Life on WNEP this Sunday for some good info about the Bald Eagles. They will show some of my pics. (I don't mind missing the beginning of the football game. ) If you miss it, they will have it on line Monday.
Thanks I saw it advetised and planned on watching. Do you see alot of eagles?

It seems like they use this flyway every other year and last year wasn't real heavy so I'm thinking this year will be, around the beginning of March.

Is a large group of Snow Geese referred to as a 'blizzard?' 'Cause this sure looks like one.
Nice shot!

Sometimes we see more than 20 and sometimes we see only 2. It all depends on the weather. If its warm, like it was last year, we don't see so many because they're at the lakes, but if its cold and the lakes are frozen over, then we see plenty by the rivers. I think next week will be good.
