I still have my 78 F250. I am rebuilding the motor right now and fixing up the body again. I have redone it 3 times now.:) Was my first new truck.:) I will have to dig up a picture of it. Your dad was pretty smart! :)

Ok, ok, I'll admit that Ford makes a good truck. But I still love my GMC. My dad was one hell of a mechanic and a Ford salesman later on in life. He use to bring home some pretty nice demos. In 1968 his demo was a brand new Thunderbird convertible. White with a red interior and he let me take it on a date with the girl of my dreams. I stopped at a store on the way to pick her up and , because I had always driven standards, I left it in drive, shut it off, and went into the store. When I came out it had rolled but just caught the left side of the bumper of the car parked in front of me which stopped it. Had it kept rolling, I would still be living in Mexico under an assumed name !! :lol:
