It was 38C here today, cooller than yesterday (42C), that's 100.4F and 107.6F respectively.
Even the kookaburras were gasping for breath. We had a bird bath in the back garden and put some water and ice cubes in it for them.

That is very hot weather!! Is this normal for the area? We don't go above 90F very much here in Ohio. Last summer was pretty hot, but no thing like that. Hope it brakes for you. Very nice shots too!!

Those are really cool shots! They were talking about you guys during the weather segment on our news yesterday. They said that although it is hot where you are, it is not record setting heat. I think I am going to Australia for the rest of our winter. Screw the cold.

What a nice set, I have been reading about your heat and fires, sounds a lot like our last summer. Thanks for caring about the birds and giving them the nice cool water. You are a kind soul.

Thanks Erv, always appreciate your comments. while temperatures of that magnitude are not "normal" they are not "uncommon" They say it will cool down and possibly rain on Monday - bet it does too that's my golf day.
