Beautiful shots! Did you notice on #1 there is a lens flare resting on top of a flagpole that looks like a giant octo (actually hex) softbox! How cool! Love all 3!
Robert
Thanks all for viewing! rodart: I did notice the lens flare; when I first read your post, I thought you said octopus! (just got up, no coffee yet) Cornish: those geese flew right into my frame!
Thanks for viewing, sloopylou!
Great looking cirrus clouds in #1.

Thanks! We have so many featureless gray days in the winter, this was a real treat.
Thanks for stopping by, Erv!
I don't know what the experts thinks, but I think this s a really difficult subject. I like them, partic 1 & 2.
My wife has just opened a really nice bottle of wine and poured a glass each, so I am sitting here enjoying wine and picy together. What could be better!

Thanks so much! I'm enjoying others' photos on UHH right now, too but only sipping tea (but that's because it's 10:00 in the morning here :)
Striking sky in the first shot, but I really like the soft pastels of two and three. Nicely done.
