A day or two ago I commented that I have hardly seen any HDR work on flowers. I submit a few of mine. As usual, they are automatic 3-exposure shots (-2, 0, +2 stops) on aperture priority, processed in Photomatix v3 and 4 and edited/enhanced in Photoshop CS3.

I have also submitted several HDR night shots in the gallery page (Shot In The Night) if you are interested.

Enjoy.

Thank you all for viewing and commenting. I have used HDR on every type of photography except action and portraiture. If used well, it may not be apparent that HDR has been used. Some may say that it is not necessary to use it on the above images posted. That may be true if the lighting is just right and there isn't much contrast between the bright and dark parts. They may or may not be adjustable in a photoeditor. As I have to use a tripod because of my hand tremors, it isn't a hassle for me to shoot 3 images. It gives me the option of creating them in HDR or not.
Equipment: Canon 350D (Rebel XT), 18-55mm and 75-300mm kit lens.

Lovely, I especially like the light around the edges of the leaves on the last one.

You don't need me to tell you how good these shots are, its obvious. Suffice to say that you have inspired me to spend some time trying to emulate your work with flowers and plants. Expect some messages from me trying to pick your brain. Very very impressive my friend. Great to see you posting again.

Great shots! I would not have thought to use HDR with flowers but the results are great.

Worthy of a second comment. I've looked at these probably no less than 10 separate times and am amazed each time. Really great work.
