I was wondering if anybody had a recomendation of a place to get good lens cloths, (the soft ones) that you can buy by the dozen or more at a reasonable price. I have looked on eBay, but most of the reviews seem to indicate they are thin and and poorly made.. These are for my personal use for my cameras and glasses.

Thanks in advance

I think you are looking for microfiber wipes since you used the word cloths. I have purchased a few different ones and most were not very well made and thus left heavy amounts of lint behind. I have purchased some decent ones at Walmart that didn't leave much lint but the best ones I ever bought came from a car detailer shop.

There are also the Zeiss wipes which are single use, pre moistened wipes. A lot of people on UHH seem to like them. You can get them at Walmart for sure and probably other places that sell glasses.

For eye glasses, I use the reusable cloths. I get them at my local optometrist' office.

Thanks for the suggestions. I really do not like the moist lens wipes very much. I was looking for the microfibre cloths. Some seem to have a hard shiny surface and some are soft. I was looking for a supplier for the softer ones as they appear to sell up to $10.00 each retail. I figured if I bought a larger quantity I could get them more reasonable.

Google car detailer suppliers.

For a start: US> Autogeek.net , here's a CA> www.eShine.ca , I have used both.

Yes, bulk will reduce price.

Have never seen - on line or in a shop - bulk sales of cleaning cloths.
Have seen several suggestions that a chamois is better than a cloth - don't know, but???
I like the Zeiss wipes - put a handfull in my bag and they fill in the cracks, use it, toss it - don't have to worry about a dirty cloth. Cost - seems to me I paid less than $10.00 for a box at Sam's Club and its a bigggg supply.

I bought my lens cloths, in fact all my cleaning supplies, at America's Best. Their supplies are good quality and the prices are decent. I bought enough to last a couple of years the last time I was their for under $30.00.

I have found a cloth, marketed for glass only, and like using for my lenses. I can't tell you the brand, as I cut the tags off. Don't ask me why. The're blue, thinner than most of the microfiber cloths, very soft and do a great job of removing any spots or smudges. I reccommend washing any cloth, that you use, seperatlly and air drying, all to prevent any lint and other foreign matter from collecting on them and affecting the surface of your lenses

I use the Zeiss moist wipes and they are great. Individually wrapped and easy to store in gadget bag or pocket

I got a pack from eBay, and I've seen them in auto parts stores. Te ones I got from eBay were nice and thick, but I guess they can vary week to week.
