Just got my new SB-900. Wow, that is one fast recycle rate.
Went to B&H site, (I buy way to much stuff there, according to the other half). Saw a used one there for 399.00. Said no apparent wear. I was hoping that the instruction manual came with it. When I received it, to my suprise it is NEW, not used. All the instructions were in German only. Certainly was no problem for me. Downloaded the manual from Nikon site. I used it at a family diner and am quite satisified. Now, I can practice on portrait pics. Gotta love B&H. Was there over the summer. Mega store for sure. Felt like a kid in a Candy Store.
Nice score...I'm planning a trip to NYC this spring, and B&H is on my list...can't wait!!

I did the same thing with Adorama in the 1960's. I wanted to see what this store with the big magazine ads looked like, so I drove 2 1/2 hours to see a closed store. :D

I believe I am a little north of you, I did not drive, I took a bus. But whats funny is, my brothers, nephews and friends were going to a car show, but not me, no, I was going shopping at B&H and Adorama. I ended walking around Manhattan with my wife, sister-in-law and daughter carrying their shopping bags. Boy did I get a razzing when I got back on the bus.

Hunts is the best! They have excellent customer service. They have taken care of me with my 3 dusty D600's
My daughter lives in Lynnfield and my son lives in Windham NH. Nice snow fall in Lynnnfield last night.

I have been wanting to purchase a couple of 600's to update my D200 backup cameras but the so called dust issues are scareing me away, I dont want to deal with the file size of the 800.

That may well end up the only thing you see while in N.Y.C.

Nice to hear who were well treated.
I retired at 65 after 40 years in high techsales. I had spent 40K at Hunt's Melrose and got to know the owners. I live in Norwell MA and last year they opened their 8th store in Hanover, next town down from me, about 3 miles. In Sept I went to work there. Having a ball but still buying too much gear. This week a new tripod, ballhead and 60mm Olympus 4/3 Macro lens. Last month a D600 (Over 1K shots so far and no issues BTW)
Hunt's Mission statement is "All Customer's who come to Hunt's should leave feeling that they were given a positive customer experience that is unmatched by anyone else in the Industry" Really great place to work but very, very dangerous..........
