So this picture is very grainy, probably due to a higher ISO in the bright snowy day. My question is, is there a way to fix it? or is it a dead deal? Any input would be great! I use lightroom4 for most my editing
Topaz DeNoise does a great job you can download the trial it is full functional I have had real good luck with all the Topaz products
post the original; it's hard to figure out what's going on with a small jpg.
Do you have a raw original or a jpg original?
Whatever you have as original...post it and we can look at it.
What ISO was this shot at and what camera do you have?

As hangman said DeNoise would be good, but didn't the noise reduction in LR help?
Just curious, why did you shoot with a high ISO? I think the exposure is spot on, but a lower ISO would have lessened the grain. A really cute pic.
nice pic but you can take noise out in LR4 IN DROPDOWN on right hand, as rob 0 said
Photo shop, or if you have windows live photo gallery you can on the cheap darken highlights and lighten the shadows maybe a little, then darken overall photo.

My experience with NIK Software's "Define" is that it can do magic with grain problems where PS and LR fail to be of use.

I wonder, is this taken with a camera phone ? I kind of think that way because of size, 600 X 397 - 34kb. If so, most adjustments were done automatically ?
I it isn't done with my phone :)

NIK Software has had a lot of success with Snapseed, a pp program designed to be used w/ smart phones. I've seen impressive examples in some photo mags. nc

Odd, but the the above entry was NOT mine. Any one else ever have that issue?
However that may be, NIK Software has Define 2, which I own and it does amazing things with grain problems, no matter how severe and it can be tried for two wks at no cost. This is not to say all grain is bad. As someone who works mostly in B&W, at times I thrive on the presence of grain.
