If you had a legal registered copy you can call Adobe and have them re-authorize the install that you lost.
Each copy comes with two installs but I'm not sure if they are still supporting CS5. Best to check with them before the end of this year as in the dark recesses of my mind I recall Adobe was discontinuing support of some early versions.
I accidentally bought 2 didn't realize I had bought the first copy so it's brand new never registered. Email me if interested
Interesting....I couldn't find them on ResellerRatings.com.
They are also the only online reseller showing a discount for an individual Adobe PS upgrade to CS6 ($165 instead of $199 from Adobe).
Per the Adobe web site:
"Starting with the release of Creative Suite 6, individual upgrades are available for purchase only through Adobe.com.* In order to successfully install and use an upgrade, you must own one of the qualifying previous versions shown in the following chart, and you may be required to enter a serial number.
* Upgrades for volume licensing customers are available on Adobe.com or through channel partners."
Has anyone bought from them? If so, please post or send me a PM.

If you bought on eBay and it is fake or not as in the listing description you can get your money back if you paid through PayPal. File a complaint with eBay's resolution center.
Robert;
Thanks for the advice. It is eBay's policy that the buyer is responsible to ship the product back to seller to get a full refund. It costs lots of money to ship the product back to Hong Kong. I requested eBay to reconsider their policy. So far no response.

I had the same problem buying a set of David Hobby CD's from Israel which turned out to be counterfeit. I didn't want to send them back as I would be abetting the seller's illegal operation. eBay ending up giving me a $15 credit for shipping which cost $18.00 (my least cost) after I explained my position. I got my money back and by and by, three months later, my sent package of the counterfeit CD's was returned to me as "undeliverable-unknown adressee".
For tracking use the US Customs Form number and send by USPS. A DVD/Video Box Priority Mail to Hong Kong is $16.95. That is your low cost alternative with tracking.
