ok...swede am I talking to much on your thread????
simon what i mean to say is
every image is a reflection of the person who takes it
what we choose to reproduce in a photo...how it is treated ect...
the viewer decides of it is pleasing based on the viewers
perception of it....which may be different than the person who took it...oh well...psychobabble retired now.
I know exactly what you are trying to say, and agree
Some of mine and William's work is a bit off the wall,
God knows what people's perception of us must be,
Still what the heck, Got to keep it real

I am amazedI opened up the forum this morning and there are five pages before I even had breakfast. Thats what I get for sleeping in a bit but it is wonderful to see that much interest!
Clasina46: I am glad to see you are caught up in the challenge. Your post is beautiful especially for only the second one. Thanks for the compliment on my posts.
Creative simon: Thanks for your compliments on my posts. I enjoy all your comments on others work as they at times point out things that I dont see. The night shot is beautiful and I like the selective color. Are there three real identical buildings in that picture or did you do some cut and paste? B&W with a toned sky is good also and I do see a ghost in it. The eyes comment is so true!
William: You outdid yourself yesterday so I can understand why you are challenged at finding another great follow-on. The prose is making up for it though and you keep making food posts. It keeps me hungry and I am supposed to be lying off the sweet things. I think I like your flag post on 94 the best. Maybe a little inclement weather is goodit spikes your creativity. I like three wise guys and the truck!
RiverNan: I like your hardware store trip. Maybe if you take him to breakfast you can spike his orange juice with some of the special honeydew juice Good Luck! I missed the skipping stone in Williams pictureIll have to go back and look. I thought the man was in an odd pose but now I understand. Thanks for the compliments on my post. Psychobabble is great in B&W. No you are not taking up too much of my threadthe more you post the closer we get to the Red and Vine thread. So post away!!!! You are so right on your view of images.
Cyan: Thanks for commenting. I have to agree with both you and Simon on the fun. I like the original composition and capture but the real fun comes in abstract where you can be totally amazed at your creation.
Pgl: Pam, I like your compliments on Simons image. Dont give him too many more or he will have a cabbage head like Williams post. Your comment on 97 is so true. All of our eyes have been opened up to different forms of abstract art. We get a lot of different types which is what I likesomething different to look forward to each day.
Bb gun: You just keep getting better and better. The lady is fabulous. I see you are now being driven to new heights with learning layers. It appears that the process is working well. The old farmstead looks like some from my childhood back in Montana.
I took my camera in yesterday to get it cleanedthe tech said it took four cleanings to get the sensor clean. Then I took a sunset last night and did it ever make a difference.

Original Image

Wow Swede! Terrific edits on a great original! The dragon looks to me to be either a mask worn by an American Indian in some ceremony or a mask worn at Mardi Gras! The last one (something wild) looks alien! Great stuff!!

Hi Swede, 4 great posts from you today.
Need to get up earlier, laying in bed will never do :-D
Posted the original of the River as shot, yes they are identical, think they are saving on Architects costs. They do look grand, but you pay for that, as usual
Identical buildings

Pgl: Pam, you have done an excellent job describing my posts. I am glad you like them. You must be having fun if you forget about the time. It is good to be so interested! Wild and Woolly is beautiful and I agree with Simonits better without the frame. I love your last poststhe composition and colors are excellent.
Creative simon: Promises, promisesIm glad you broke it and made it back to comment and post. Thanks for the compliments. I like your river shotsvery striking!
RiverNan: While we would all like to help you get hubby in line were all too far away to do much more than give verbal support. You can tell him that Simon and I think he should take care of it post haste! Thanks for the compliments. I like the B&W flower. I too had shied away from B&W, but have been experimenting with it and find some occasions that it is truly beautiful.
William: The Brazos River shot is by far your very best work. Everything from composition to color is perfect. I like your comments and second post. I do try to stay away from big hairey spiders. That is one advantage of the Northwestits too wet for bugs, spiders and snakes. Nice flash post!
Cyan: Thanks for the compliment. I have to keep you guessing once in awhile. In my past life I have been accused of being in a rut so I make an effort to change when possible.
JENNIFER: I hope you get your computer well soon.
LostHawaiian: Glad to see you back and with some very nice posts! The Mayan post is my favorite.
Clasina46: Your first attempt is done well. The digital alterations to abstracts were new to most of us on the threadwe only started 7 months ago. As time went by, we learned from each other and the quality of artwork has improved. We want you to feel welcome and extend help to you when you have need of it.

They are all very good but the last one is fantastic Swede!! I really like the 3D effect of the globe suspended in the foreground. I feel as though I can reach in and grab it. :-D
If it is anything like mine...not to worry..on second thought...maybe you should worry....
