Got my T3i Monday, but today was the first chance I have had to use it except for random shots around the house. I love the clarity and the focus I was able to get right off the bat. This shot was taken in Walmart. I have given him a Holiday frame and emailed his parents a copy so that they can have it printed out for the grandparents or themselves. He was setting in a shopping cart so there is an area on the bottom right that I did not get worked out quite right, but I don't think his parents will notice.
HO HO HO MERRY CHRISTMAS

Hi Cajon: I'd say picture perfect... Adorable picture... I'm sure the parents and grandparents will love it.
You should be proud. Great picture.
Love the way you captured his eyes. A photo any parent / Grand parent would be proud of.
Super shot. Flash on camera but what the hey. Gotta love that kid. That new camera must be a winner.
Sorry. Hit post twice.

Flash was on camera, but bling was provided by Photoshop. Parents, especially moms, seem to really like that extra little twinkle/ sparkle in the eyes, but I try not to overdue it.
Thanks for all the kudos everybody.

Thank you Treepusher, I will look through some of my older photos to see if I can find 1 or 2 that would be worthy to post.
cajon, what a wowser shot of this adorable kid. spot on clarity, color etc , I have been eyeballing the t3i myself ,but might have to wait as i recently purchased a monitor(viewsonic vp2365) which is great for the amateur photographer who needs accurate color so that he can do his photediting .$300 at amazon.com. Got great reviews on amazon by its users for a moderately priced monitor.
Lovel shot. Well done. I am sure everyone will be pleased.
