This video narrated by Ed Asner offers an explanation to all those wondering what happened to the country they new. This was passed on to me by my childhood friend Dr. Jack Bishop a pioneer in musicology. It is very entertaining.

It is entertaining and has bright colors, I would have enjoyed it more though if I was 5 or 6 years old. It seems like a propaganda film designed to indoctrinate children.
It was actually written and directed by California Federation of Teachers communications director Fred Glass.
When the 83 year old Asner was interviewed concerning the film the other evening he said, "I don't remember a thing I said on it or a word I said on it, but I agreed to do it for California teachers."
Ed Asner is a self described socialist and a 9/11 "Truther." He also happens to be a millionaire socialist.

I know that more money in your pocket for the first time in years is going to feel strange for you. You will also have to get use to the fact that property values are rising I know that's going to be tough I mean wow, we were just getting use to living as paupers and now with the next four years of continuing growth a certainty things just are not going to be the same.

Mark my words, the tax increase will not just affect the wealthiest 1%. It will affect all Americans that have income above the poverty level. They may not call it a tax increase; instead they will call it something like 'fee', 'charge', 'maintenance', 'disposal', 'environmental', 'repair', 'growth', 'tier' - I could keep going forever.
