Today I am subbing for Sher and decided we will have a free day. Rufe suggested that along with the photos we post we also try to explain the emotion we are trying to evoke or the story we are trying to convey.
I hope we will all have fun today because anything goes!
Sher, my thoughts are with you today.... think P!nk

First time a father holds his first child (son)
Mom, meet my son!
pride, joy, and some fear
that part is over, now comes the hard stuff
The story here, if there is one, is that a favourite past time is rambling outback and dirt roads are the cherry on the cake. Along these roads we find things such as this maple syrup house and we find deer, foxes, an occasional moose and it can easily be accompanieed by the honking of the geese which serves as background music. Emotions are drawn from times past when I sugared with my pod, André, who is almost always riding shotgun in my truck.

Sher, it will be a hard day but I like all the others here will be with you, just behind your shoulder. You won't see us but I hope that you'll feel our presence...Jim

Sher, more flowers for you-thoughts and prayers for your family, too!
The Etchemin River, the river like all rivers is a river of life. We start in the skies and for the rest of our lives we flow, not to slowly sometimes down to our final destination, that huge river that takes us to places unknown.
The Etchemin is one of my preferred rivers and I have scouted it pretty far upstream, finding places, like in our lives, that to ohers do not even know exist and even those closest to us.
For instance in life our river sometimes closes in on us causing an uncontrollable rush sometimes but.......
even tho it is fast passing and cold......
there is always a small place for respite
Always heading down stream to that magical and huge river of eternity, we also capture pleasure and peacefulness along the way
And sometimes we can even party hard too along the way
And let the good time roll
Before flowing in tranquility impatiently awaiting the River of Eternity
