Well folks I was hoping for a better action filled game, but no way. Pitcher throws a 1 hit game. Got what I could to make the gallery kind of entertaining.
The shot at the plate I had it zeroed in and the coach starts to get in my path. Through cropping I could save the shot.

Great set Jules! Love how clearly you can see their facial expressions!
Really like the image of the ball about to enter the firstbaseman's glove. Excellent. The last one brings back memories of when I played baseball. We we taught to put our fingers BEHIND the bat when bunting. Could help save your fingernails!! I have found a shift in my determination of what constitutes a "good" game since I started photographing such events. I tend to think it is a good game based upon the quality of photo ops and not as much as the quality of play! Similar to looking at photos printed in magazines, newspapers and other such antiquated media. LOL.
All that rambling out of the way, very good job and excellent quality. I guess it speaks to how good the images are when they provoke such thoughts!
Keep up the good work.
It looks to me as if you found some decent action.

I was taught the same thing about the fingers. Also I noticed when catching a ball in the outfield they catch the ball with one gloved hand. Not two in case the ball comes out. Oh well..

Yeah always in the way of a shot. Some are better than others staying out of your way. Price of fame.
Very nice, clear action photos!

The stellar pivotal moment latent in the 1st image has all the charismatic aura of a ballerina on stage...
