That's what I named it when it was showcased in the Parade of Garden Railroads in 2008. It got good reviews because the judges were looking for exactly what I had built; a garden railroad that complimented the garden - not despite or instead of the garden.

We just received of 5 inches of rain in the past 2 days and I had the camera out inspecting my gardens. I had my camera in hand and was walking past this section of railroad which has a 4 foot bridge held up by a trestle 3 foot up, off of the ground below. The reason for the shot was the beautiful Azalea bush in the background.

This railroad is used by the Soo Line with the occasional C & NW steam locomotive.

Very nice integration of the blooms with your bridge. My GRR (long since FF) never sprouted such beauties.

Thank you! Yes, it is G scale. I think most garden railroads are G scale. I am sure there a bunch that are not. Actually, you asked a very good question.

Thank you! I think the angle of the the dangle is what makes this photo stand out. I really need to do some major overhauling with the rest of the landscaping. Deferred maintenance is not the way to go with a garden railroad, I am finding out. It still runs well.
