This post continues our tour of Lake Como on the water on our second full day at Lake Como.

My previous post can be found at https://www.uglyhedgehog.com/t-805699-1.html, while the first post of this series (that includes a map of all of the places where we stopped) can be found at https://www.uglyhedgehog.com/t-801137-1.html

Super set. The waterfall is incredible. Loved the image of someone taking a cellphone photo of it.

Excellent set Dennis. No matter how many times you see and cruise on Como, it's never enough and still breathtaking!

Thank you Laura, I'm glad you enjoyed the set. I loved that photo-op also and was glad I captured it.

Thank you Mark. Lake Como is one of the most beautiful places we have ever visited. The other 4 major lakes in the area (Orta, Maggiore, Iseo and Garda) are also beautiful, and we visited them last year, with photos to follow after I finish posting all from this trip. We are anxious to get back to Como.

Thank you very much Jo, I really appreciate your comments on my photos of this beautiful place; I'm happy to share them.

BTW, I took all of these photos with my compact (fits in a shirt pocket) Canon G5X Mk II camera, truly a great little camera with a large (for its size) 1" 20MP sensor and an excellent f1.8-2.8 24-120 zoom lens. It won't replace my DSLR, but it sure is nice when you're out and about, which is what I bought it for.

Thanks Jo. I brought both cameras (my other is a Canon 90D DSLR) and used the G5X almost exclusively when we were off of the ship and the 90D most of the time when we were on the ship. On our 2018 cruise I only had my DSLR (an 80D then) and brought my "walking around lens" (18-135) as well as my wide angle and telephoto. I only used the telephoto the second day and the wide angle a couple of times, so I now only bring that camera with the 18-135 and a bag just big enough to hold the camera, an SD case and a couple of spare batteries. If I need more than 135mm of reach, I have a 32.5MP sensor and can "digitally zoom" in post. I have to remind myself that it's a vacation and I'm taking photos that are for my memories.
