Some Highlights from Last Week's visit to Franklin Park Zoo

Franklin Park Zoo in Boston, MA has a nice variety of animals and a large playground for the kids. Our trip almost got rained out, but we ended up with a mix of sun and clouds with a cool breeze. It was a fun day.

I find the kid's section of the local zoo to be most entertaining. I love the interaction with the animals. Unfortunately, they have a height limit for entry!

I confess I climbed over a fence to get some good shots of him. I was still behind a second fence with big holes that I could focus through. He seemed to enjoy the attention.

That is really unfair. We all were able to go in a fenced in area with the goats. At Southwick zoo everyone can walk through a wooded area and hand feed the deer and they can go inside a large fenced area and hand feed the goats including a bunch of baby goats. Just watch your shoe laces, they like those.
