You are very welcome. I thought not everyone would know but I should have clarified before someone asked. Sorry.

Question, I really like your high key background against the gun. The shadow is so almost non-existent, how did you manage to produce so little amount of a shadow?

OR just stick their finger in the carrier's back and demand the firearm.

There is a a video on Youtube of an open carrier walking into a store when an old man sees him. Without saying a word the older man attacked the carrier and threw him to the ground thinking he was saving the world. Luckily he did not get shot by the fully compliant with the law open carrier.

As a former LEO I never as in NEVER recommend open carrying for any reason and that is for the safety of the carrier.

Nice weapon Dennis. I drop a sig P238 in my pocket when out and about. Fine little weapon, especially with the new defensive loads. Hopefully its just enough for me to get out of the area fast. Cheers.

Thank you very much for the comment Blaster 34. I appreciate you taking a look and commenting.

You bring up a good point about getting out of the area fast. I do not really want this thread to get into tactics or anything other than photographs that might help me and others with somewhat commercial photographs. But just because we carry does not mean it is always a good idea to pull our firearms if confronted by a gang of thugs or if someone has the upper hand on us. Much of the stuff we see on television where the firearm of the thug is taken from him or the slide is pulled off of say a Beretta 92 is generally so much television. Yes some can do that but not most of us.

To the members, I received a PM about displaying a firearm from another member. I have been thinking about just that and invite everyone who carries or who has a firearm they want to post a photo for whatever reason to do just that. Forgive me for not pointing that out earlier since it has been on my mind since my first thread on this subject of commercial photography/firearms. I have other firearms I am really proud of and would like to post those photos too. I invite others to do the same.

Please let's not get into discussions about tactics, buying and selling, things other than enjoying the photographs. This is still a photography forum and should remain just that. I am sure Admin would not want this to evolve into anything other than photo.
