Nice phone catch. EARLY !!! Only T- time you could get?
...and the grounds crew has already swept and mowed the practice green. Growing up, I played at a golf course that "required" the first group out to use long, long pieces of bamboo (likely some kind of fiberglass today) to 'sweep' the greens of dew as they played. The sweeps would 'break up' the drops of dew, allowing the greens to dry much sooner than the rest of the course... The greens were not mowed until later in the day so the sweeping was required.
Good eye and execution, Mike.
What are they farming? Lost golf balls?
Very nice phone shot.
Nothing better than being first out the gate on a country course. Get to that today on our home course in Texas in a couple of hours and then next Friday at 7,000 feet in New Mexico. At Starr Hollow in Tolar, Texas, today and at The Inn of the Mountain Gods in Ruidoso, New Mexico, on Friday, for a short while this 81-year-old guy who is 1993 had a personal golf lesson from Ben Hogan will be among the leaders in the clubhouse.
