When I was younger I had a mentor who did taxidermy. It just never appealed to me.

Me neither. I guess it's an art in itself. Way back, I went out with a 23-year old woman who was the first female enbalmer in the Chicago area (1989). She totally loved her work, to the extent that it freaked me out. We lasted about three months. She even asked me to drive her to the morgue to get some paperwork. I stayed in the car.
