My wife and I went to Hot Springs, Arkansas to view and photograph the total eclipse. We just got back late yesterday. I already made a post of some of my photos. Well, I tried to teach my wife how to use my ancient, Sony A580 which is just a little older than my other ancient Sony camera, which is the one I use every day, the Sony A77 ll.

Anyway, I had a hard time teaching her. She just didn't want to learn. I made some quick settings and told her to click the shutter. Here are the results from her camera. Not too shabby!

All shot hand held using a Tamron 29-200mm lenses with a Solar Guy filter attached.

I told her they were good and then she saw them. So, thanks, Don!
