Do you think of Trump or Biden ?
Lol, you remain clueless as to what factors contribute to gas pricing, but do have fun!
The OP is so clueless, that he should run for Congress as a Republican. I'm sure MTG needs help.

In addition to typical market mechanisms, political shifts in the US energy policy also inflated prices. The Biden administration’s aversion to traditional, more reliable sources of energy has lowered the oil supply and therefore caused higher costs. Actions to significantly curtail reliable forms of energy did not only impact individuals at the pump, but it also ballooned operational costs for nearly every business—big or small.

Are you referring to Biden's energy policies?

The question of this thread was: "Do you think of Trump or Biden ?"
Your answer: "The OP is so clueless, that he should run for Congress".
Is a definite clear example that 'you can't think'

I am referring to the statement quoted in my reply, nothing more.
Clearly the OP is implying strictly political causation of gasoline pricing on this and other threads he has initiated. He has demonstrated several times that he has no idea of the main factors contributing to prices at the pump.
Travelwp:
The Biden administration’s aversion to traditional, more reliable sources of energy has lowered the oil supply and therefore caused higher costs.
Politico (and multiple other sources):
In fact, though, oil production from federal lands and waters has risen on Biden’s watch, reaching past 3 million barrels per day last year. The high mark during President Donald Trump’s term was 2.75 million barrels a day.
Newsweek:
American oil production has reached its largest volume in recorded history—more than 13.2 million barrels per day in October, official figures show—outpacing its highest point under Donald Trump's presidency, 13 million barrels daily in November 2019.

Just curious, did you perform research and come to these conclusions or should this statement be attributed to another source?
What are the "typical market mechanisms..." that you reference? What are the "...traditional, more reliable sources of energy..." averted that have lowered the oil supply...

Careful now! Don't be messing these folks up with factual info from possibly more reliable sources than we've seen offered here so far.

IMO most people don't think about or have any idea about the causation of gas pricing. Political causation has been demonstrated by those on both sides.

That's true, when people go to the grocery store or to buy gas, they don't give a shit about the reason the prices are too high, they just blame the people in charge of the government.
In the case of Biden; however, his initial actions when he took office contribute greatly to the increased prices.

Absolutely! We do know, however, that there is some effect from good old political crapola.
Too bad most are too fricken lazy or stupid to educate themselves a bit.
It's so much more easy and more gratifying to jump on the political bandwagon. People should remember that Hitler essentially noted in the 20's that if anything is repeated enough times, much of the public will believe it. We have witnessed some of that as well.
