Yesterday at Farmington Bay a ring-necked pheasant was on the road, but by the time I stopped the car and got out, it was on its way. I just post this to show the beautiful colors. This is my second miss, but I hope to get lucky soon.

On the wing shots are difficult. This bird is well camouflaged making AF lock hard. Great shot!
