I am not quite that old to have been around when she recorded. But
I always enjoy her singing whenever I hear it.
Did a lot of ballroom dancing and there was a singer (sadly cannot
remember her name) that sang in Chicago and it was hard to tell the
difference between the two singers.

That name does sound familiar. Not really sure but good possibility that it was her.
I know it was at the Aragon Ballroom.
