eclipse composite tutorial

So, I got great images of the eclipse yesterday. It was a perfect day here in Arkansas--sunny and high in the 70s! I am a Lightroom Classic user since LR3 with very limited knowledge of Photoshop. Can anyone point me to a very simple, detailed YouTube or other tutorial on making a composite of those images? Thanks in advance.

PS: Possible to do inside Lightroom print module?

Alas, no version of Lightroom is a 'composite' tool. Grab a copy of PhotoShopElements from Adobe.com and you'll be in business with 'how to' help from YouTube.

If you're already subscribing to LR+PS, just google:

utube video photoshop composite how to

Following (attempting to) follow a Matt Kloskowski tutorial, but each time I try to load my stack of images, I get this error message. "Documents must be saved before they can be merged". Now what?

Thank you for any help!

Unsure. In PSE I'd just open all the images as individual files on the PS / PSE desktop, then pick 1 that is the start of the merge / composite. Every other image would be cropped to fit into the merged version. Then, I just 'drag' each of those edited images 'onto' the target composite.

You might return to the google results earlier and look at someone else's process. There were 10s / 100s of possible video examples.

Are you looking to combine a time sequence into a single image or are you looking for a video output?

Rongnogno recently posted a link to https://ezgif.com/ which produces animated gif files. I haven't tried it out yet, but with the prefix 'ez' it might be simpler than other programs.

Alternatively I have a tutorial on how to produce a contact sheet in Lightroom which might be adaptable.

I did find a couple of tutorials to help. After several hours I managed to accomplish it!

Thanks for your response.

I've found doing "it" once / first always takes the longest in PhotoShop. The next time is much faster.
