NIGHTSWORD RGB Tunable FPS/MOBA Gaming Mouse vs Kensington Smart Mouse

Trying to stay focused on intricate layer masks training--changing backgrounds on group family portraits.

I want to be certain I have the proper "best in class" tools.

My go to trainer uses the Nightsword others like the Mac/Apple Magic Mouse or Kensington Expert Mouse.

I think it is really my lack of time testing & trying with my Kensington.

Any thoughts here?

Thanks so much!

I have never used Mac but just picked up a Mac Book M3 Max 16” two days ago. I read several reviews and the mouse most recommended for this computer seemed to be the Logitech MX Master 3S. Just loaded my Adobe Suite so I’ll give it a run and report back.

Just my opinon ... type of mouse used will have no affect on the statement above.

A $10 mouse will make the same selection as a $100 mouse.

Not necessarily. It will depend on how fine you can control the cursor. Some trackballs and track pads have a speed control for the movement of the cursor so you can slow it down and get much finer control. The problem is that it's limited to small areas. You have to switch the speed back and forth if you have a mixture of fine and coarse regions you want to select.

It takes some getting used to, but I find that a Wacom tablet and stylus works better than any mouse when making intricate selections.
