I received my new camera from 6 Ave Electronics this week. It's a relatively compact full frame 60mp beauty with a fixed 28mm f 1.7 lens. I'll need a lot more time on it before it will feel comfortable, but here are a few photos.
these are straight out of the camera.
#4 is my favorite but all of them are great. From the description your camera sounds like it is a Leica Q4

Am I correct in assuming that you have other cameras/lenses?
Having 60 mp would surely give you plenty of cropping ability but I can't imagine anyone limiting their photography to a fixed 28mm lens.
Congratulations on your new toy!

I owned a Sony APSC DSLR from 2013. That had 2 lenses. I gave it to my daughter. I used my iPhone as a camera for the last 5-6 years. I find Naples, FL to be photographically boring (as compared with Andes, NY in the Catskill’s, and Rockaway, NY by the ocean).
When I read about this camera, I just knew that I wanted it as a general walk around, carry everywhere camera. The dark street scene above was taken in the dark at an ISO of 12,500.
The 35mm crop is 38mp, a 50mm crop is 20mp, a 75mm is 12?, and a 90mm crop is 9mp, good enough for say, Facebook. So this camera can be considered to have 4+ lenses.
This camera is hard to justify, it’s so expensive. It’s useless for birding, and wildlife photography. For street photos, landscapes, architecture, portraiture, it’s great.
It feels so good in my hand. I can’t wait to use it each day. It’s brought back the joy I used to feel taking photos.
It was no small feat convincing my wife that it was a worthwhile purchase.

Thanks much for entertaining my nosy question (I mostly do prints/enlargements for mounting and framing).
Obviously, it works for your shooting style and you're happy with it so...ENJOY!
