I'm now finding birds everywhere. And, I'm actually attempting to shoot them instead of just looking at them and listening to them! Here are a couple I found in Ecuador.
Do any of you birders know what the 3rd one is? He's rather large.
I found a hummer! He's larger than most I've seen, and beautifully coloured.

My camera was set up for landscapes, but I was able to get this guy mid-flutter! Kudos to a 20-year-old lens!

I was shooting the mountains in behind this guy and managed to get a pretty nice portrait of him.

Nice set. It's easy to get hooked on birding!
Very nice, Kathy. Watch out, I was an innocent landscaper until Chief and Ken got me hooked.

Thanks, Ken. I've always loved hearing them, but could never see them.

Nicely done shots, especially since you were shooting landscape. As far as the name of #3, its possibly this one…..

Thanks, Mike. I've graduated from black blobs to recognizable color blobs! I call that progress.
