I will enjoy the daffodils when they arrive. I was sort of hoping they would outsmart the efforts and expense we went through to discourage the weeds. The shrubs we planted are now on their third year and they definitely are not fast growing but seemed to have withstood the winter.

I’ve had a big scare. I was eating triangle shaped natcho chips,from Taco bell. The soft one went down my throat buta Small,one stuck to it wedged horizontal In my throat. Much coughing and trying to breath. I put my finger in my throat and pushed it but it went vertical and I could feel the points in my throat. Maybe from the first time. Anyway I’m afraid if it’s vertical in my throat and I eat tonight with my meds the food might lump with the chip and I couldn’t get it out. I had a coworker who choked to earth so I’m wary. Also my son’s friend’s dad chocked to death when he had alhimers . I’m going to try small pieces of fruit in fruit ‘cup Nd then some pudding. Hope my throat is clear. I think vertical chip would go down odd how it happened.

Good morning all from a very sunny Norfolk although only 4C atm, there was a hard frost first thing. A quiet day today, then a big order of meat coming tomorrow and MRI on Wed. On with the knitting this afternoon but nothing else planned. Have as good a Monday as you can. xx

Good morning from Port Hope Ontario Canada. It is 6:21 am EST and 6'C (43'F) going up to 13'C (55'F) with a mix of sun and cloud. The weekend was nice too.
The summer birds are here now and have been visiting our feeders constantly. DD and I went to the farm to get more birdseed. Bears have awakened up north and are causing problems breaking into bird feeders and garbage trying to find food.
The Ford provincial government has closed our walk-in clinic AGAIN. Mum went there because she had hurt a muscle on the back of her neck and found out it had been closed again. It was open a couple weeks ago because the parking lot was packed. She went into the pharmacy located in the same building and the pharmacist was able to give her a muscle relaxer. It worked for the first day but she is hurting again. Part of the problem is that she needs new glasses, so to see her tablet she has to hold it high so she can see it from the top of her glasses not the bottom. She just cancelled her eye appointment because she would have to pay because it hasn't been a year since her last eye appointment.
The federal government has just signed a deal to cover all birth control and diabetic medication. Watch, we'll run out of those drugs due to demand.
We went to a new bakery this weekend. They have lovely goods, but both DD and I became sick after eating their donuts filled with cream. They were fine when we ate them while they were still warm, but we put half of the donuts in the fridge and that seems to have been a bad thing. We'll make sure we stay away from the cream from now on.
My alarm has gone off already so I'm signing off and saying have a good day and stay safe and well, or get better soon.

Good morning from a 35F and cloudy Shoreline area. Might get some snow this morning. It's too warm here, but areas around it might get it. I'm supposed to be meeting a friend for breakfast and a chat this morning, so I hope it's clear by then. No other plans, so will get on with my knitting at some point.
