very cool i have no luck growing them,started from seeds 2x but only came up a few inches then died!?

Interesting thing about lupine is that it’s poisonous to cattle but not sheep. In the high country rangelands it’s considered a weed, although a pretty weed. Calves raised in the high country learn from mom to not eat it while cattle raised in non- mountainous areas will eat it with disastrous results.
