I got one, and it was a disappointment. It requires an app on the phone, and I don't have it. I don't know if I lost the instructions for downloading it, or what, but I can't use it.

You want one with a light that you can turn on and off and adjust the brightness. You should be able to focus it. I've seen some that have fixed focus, and unless it's 1/2", or whatever, away from the subject, the image won't be in focus. There are several endoscopes available on Amazon with a wide range of prices. A unit that can save images would be nice. I suspect that a good, usable endoscope would be justifiably expensive.

These links are ridiculously long, the first one, especially!

How about using your camera with auto shutter release or remote control?

There are a number of universal aps for endoscopes (some free) and some specifically for android and IPhones (I use mine with a small laptop for the larger screen) just Google “universal aps for endoscopes” and take your pick.

I clicked on the first one listed, and I could click on "Install on more devices." I guess that's one of the apps that didn't work.

I just installed it on my Moto phone. Maybe it will work on that.

This doesnt seem to be an endoscope job.
Youre a UHH member so, presumably, you have a camera and can use a conventional macro lens to photo your feet ?

I bought one on TEMU and at the time it was maybe $6.00 I thought what the hell for $6.00 I'll try it.
well it actually works. I use it to find small parts in the bottom of RC racing boats that I rebuild.
only thing I can tell you when buying one. buy the longest possible hose/wire/ what ever its called.

You don't need an endoscope to inspect your feet, unless one of them is shoved up someplace it doesn't belong.

I would just use a phone camera, with one of those clip on LED lights, and maybe a bluetooth remote so you don't have to reach with both hands.

I used to do endoscopic surgery...you don't want an endoscope. It's for looking into joints, abdomens, etc. Not for looking at external body parts. Also, the whole setup of the scope, light source, camera, and image capture/storage is very expensive and cumbersome. Get a macro lens, like a 90,105, or 200mm with a short focus distance. Better yet, have your physician evaluate your feet on a regular basis.

I have this endoscope and it works quite well. I bought to see inside of walls to look for water leaks

These would work for some applications, but the OP needs something with a long cable. Considering the serious nature of his reason for getting an endoscope, "cheap" would probably not be the way to go.
