Headed to Anza Borrego tomorrow, then off to Santee Lakes ( for ducks, etc); then Diamond Valley Lake, Chino Hills SP, Escondido Falls, Figueroa Mountain, and Antelope Canyon

Does anyone have any current updates?

Your image is best seen using three home projectors and a huge white curved wall ... I am already sneezing and very thirsty from the desert heat.

Hi, Ed.
I can't speak about the superbloom in the desert, but I do know most all the migratory birds have left Santee Lakes.
