There are very few B&W ISO-100 films left in the market. The older ACROS was discontinued in April 2018, then just over a year later in June 2019, Fujifilm announced the return of the updated Neopan ACROS 100 II.

Chicago Skyline

Online reviews of the older and this newer Acros film indicate not much of a change. The film is considered easy to develop and v II features a thicker, easier-to-scan film base. Fuji says Acros II uses “Fine-Sigma Grain Technology”. This is assumed to be a tabular grain, similar to Kodak T-MAX and Ilford Delta films.

Acros II is extremely fine grain with a wide tonal range. The film is an excellent choice for landscapes, macro, and fine art applications, anything where a lack of film grain is desired.

Grant Park's North Rose Garden

Buckingham Fountain is a Chicago landmark in the center of Grant Park. Dedicated in 1927, it is one of the largest fountains in the world. The fountain operates from April to October, with regular water shows and evening color-light shows. During the winter, the fountain is decorated with festival lights.

The fountain was donated to the city by Kate Buckingham in memory of her brother, Clarence Buckingham, and was constructed at a cost of $750,000. The fountain's official name is the Clarence Buckingham Memorial Fountain.

The Fountain's water capacity is 1.5 million gallons. Depending on wind conditions, major displays recirculate approximately 14,100 gallons of water per minute conveyed through 134 jets. Water is recirculated from the base pool after the basins are filled and not drawn from the outside except to replace losses from wind and evaporation.

Nice work Paul. Have not shot film in a very long time. I checked one of my old Nikon 35mm film cameras about 8 years ago and gave it to my grand-daughter for her high school photography class.

Thank you Don! My EOS 1v shares my EF lenses with my digital cameras and the AF capabilities are nearly the same as my DSLRs. I've been shooting film about as much as digital for a while now.

Thanks Joe, John! I got about 10 rolls of film back a few weeks ago that has slowly been edited for posts.

Like the way you balanced the white, gray and black values. Very pleasing to the eye. The deep blacks really anchor the shots
