This makes me smile.

Thank you so much. I'm glad to know that.
My dad was full of what he called good old sayings (most, he made up himself).
One of my favorites was "If you see someone without a smile, give 'em one." It always makes me happy if I can give them one.

Not everyone can say that. I say Congratulations! Mostly for having the courage to fight hard and work toward surviving (recovering). Continued good health. May your next mountains be smaller and the sun shine upon you.

Thank you so much for those kind words. Stay safe, stay well and be blessed.

I've had soooo many speed bumps, hills and mountains to spring up in front of me, but it seems like God always shouted "That's no hill for a stepper" so I'm still here for now.

God Bless you. Keep on stepping!

Thank you very much. My Dr told me that people with a good attitude are most likely to survive. Then he told me that my goofy sense of humor would help too.

I had the best Dr. He never has to look up any symptoms or illnesses. He has a photographic memory and remembers everything he ever learned. He knows the whole Bible. If you give him a Chapter and verse, he will quote it for you, word for word. My surgery was pretty serious but the next night after I got out of the hospital, I was at the horse show...and the next night...and the next afternoon!!!

He's one reason I hated to leave Tn. I haven't found another Dr like him here and probably never will.

Congratulations and glad you survived it!

Our oldest daughter is a cancer survivor of 14 years, soon after she delivered her first child; she subsequently delivered 4 more healthy children. My wife is a cancer survivor of 10 years. I was diagnosed with skin cancer in two places last week and will have surgery for it in the near future; I am optimistic. I have too many places to go, 14 grandchildren (so far) to enjoy and a lot of living left to do, God willing.
