We older folks here in the US are familiar with the concept of earlybird specials. That is anathema to the Romans, so much so that the restaurants do not begin accepting reservations until 7 PM. They are not yet on daylight savings time, or whatever they call it here. You do not have to feel sorry for us walking to the restaurant in the dark, where I had the best spaghetti with white clam sauce ever. That's many many decades!

Couple of good ones David. Glad you had a great supper. When I was in Spain, many years ago, it was the custom not to go to supper until 8:00 or 9:00 in the evening.
