I did read a couple of your links and it comes down to the progressive attitude that the constitution is outdated and should not constrain our modern government, that the government should not be restricted in making progress for the common good, it should evolve, through the court system and agency. The progressive view in my opinion discounts human nature and the corruption of those who wield power.

What has made this country the greatest country on the face of the earth is the fact that our constitution placed individual freedoms at the forefront of our constitution and protected those rights not only through the Bill of Rights, but also in the construct of our government that modern day liberalism would tear down.

What you posted to support that POV is from radical right wing zealots. They are not the true conservatives.

That is your opinion, it is a fact that since the late 19th century forward that the left has taken issue with our country's constitution and made significant efforts with some success at making it irrelevant. Call me a right wing radical if you so choose but I honestly believe in the principles that the framers laid down in the writing of our constitution as not only being correct but enduring and necessary principles for a healthy and free society. You may believe otherwise and that is fine, should I attack you as a radical leftwing zealot? I think not, we just have a difference of opinion and that is fine as long as we do not force either to live under the other's belief system.

I called you an ass because of your attacks on me, if anyone is becoming untethered in this thread it is you, read the thread, I am arguing my POV and you are making personal attacks because my logic stands up to yours, neither of us can make an argument that the entire country would accept, we have a disagreement on how this country should be governed and who is to say which of us is right and which of us is wrong. I agree with the guiding principles of our country's constitution, principles that many would say made this country the greatest country on earth. It could be better for sure, what you and I are arguing about is how do we get there, do we do so with a truly representative government or one that works through agency insulated from the will of the people.

I have made no comments as to my position on the state of the administrative state. Yet, you called me ignorant and an ass. It's only bern personal attacks from you because all you have on my POV is your assumptions. I've labeled your source as a zealot, but not you nor have I slammed your position. Read the thread in its entirety.

Where are asylum seekers even mentioned in the constitution? You know what Biden is doing is wrong.

Like I said, you know what is going on at the border is wrong and a disgrace and an affront to US law.

Again, with you saying what I do or don't believe and presuming to speak for me. As usual, you know nothing.
