In case you might be wondering, this is the natural colour of these cute little guys. This is a male, note the blue nose...

We had a guy like this when I was 20, and he was a great talker and loved interacting with absolutely everyone. Tiny birds with enormous personalities ⭐ Sylvester was great at sitting on his perch and making machine gun noises like I taught him πŸ’šπŸ’›πŸ’šπŸ’›πŸ’š

Lorraine & I had them for many years before we moved into the retirement village. Just one at a time. Never in cages but had the run of the house. Only went back to their cage for a sleep or something to eat. Most of the time they ate what we ate...
Our last one could say 120 different words and one day Lorraine was amazed as they had an actual conversation. Maybe only 3 - 4 words but it all made sense...

We saw a flock of about two hundred of them on our trip to OZ a few years ago! It seems strange to me that they are pets in Australia. In the U.S. native birds can't be kept as pets.
Cool photo, and video!

Thanks Chief, I think it depends on how many there are in the wild...some birds and reptiles cannot be kept and some require a permit to keep.
