Do they need a two state solution?

Hmmm, when one state sends thousands of missiles towards the other, and the same state murders, burns and mutilates women and children of the other state............ I think a one state solution will be fine.

Hamas has launched over 20,000 missiles into Israel. Israel has proposed a 2 state solution 6 times since 1947 that was rejected. Yassar Arafat had broken the agreement.
I agree with a 1 state soulution.

The way things are now, a one state would turn into a Civil War instead of a two state war.
And who would be top dogs in the "One State"? Israel which has the tech and money or the Palestinians with the numbers and support of the Jihadists from the other nations?

They have had proposals for a One State with a form of federalism like the US has, but there has always been at least one extreme group (usually Muslim) that has killed the deal. The extremists not only attack Israelis but their own side's moderates.

It seems to be an impossible problem. It has been a continuously violent part of the world since 1948 and the establishment of the state of Israel. Trying to create a country for the Jews was an excellent, moral goal. But was it wise to plunk the state of Israel down in the middle of a number of hostile Arab countries? I'm not at all saying those Arab countries are correct in any way but those are the unfortunate facts. And several hundred thousand Palestinians were displaced in order to do it. Was that a good idea? I've tried to find a source to understand the thinking behind this decision. Did they not anticipate what could happen? It began, of course, with the Balfour Declaration in 1917 and then the State of Israel was formed 1948. But it has been a powder keg every day since then and I see no resolution for a very long time, if ever.

Biden's two state solution is Michigan and Wisconsin.

Yea, and it's unfortunate.

Hopefully, November will correct that mistake.

Many here harp now about Arafat turning down a two state solution but they never mention or more probably don’t have a clue what strings Israel tied to that idea. Arafat thought one country was fine - Christian Jews Muslim all equal but Israel said no and even refused any thought of letting Palestinians back to the land taken from them

Very good points, always glossed over. The Zionists have bombed Israel back to the stone age. It only gets worse now.

There is already a two state solution. It's just the Palestinians don't want the state they have, don't want a two state solution, and don't want Israel to be a state.

And they seem to want Hamas to manage their situation.

Legislative elections were held in the Palestinian territories on 25 January 2006 in order to elect the second Palestinian Legislative Council (PLC), the legislature of the Palestinian National Authority (PNA). The result was a victory for Hamas, contesting under the list name of Change and Reform, which received 44.45% of the vote and won 74 of the 132 seats, whilst the ruling Fatah received 41.43% of the vote and won 45 seats.[1]

Like I said neat two decades ago . You can read after all,
Next look up what Hamas was like in 2096and stood for in that election compared to the Hamas of today
